Do You Know What Time It Is?

Time Is Up Message Meaning Deadline Reached by Stuart Miles1 Peter 4:17-18 “For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?”

John 9:4 “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.”

Rev 22:21 “The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.”

are We are suspended times unaware. The masses have a destiny. The soon coming global catastrophic terror is coming upon us. We read about it, we get little glimpses of what destruction on earth could be. Many have lost loved ones.

Hundreds of millions of people are on a path that ends at destruction. This is their destiny. We exist as a church, a lighthouse. We have to shine upon the ships that crash upon the shores of life’s last port. As seamen come off that ship without hope, we have to pick them up and carry them.

The world needs more than a social gathering. We have to be the voice in the wilderness, ‘Prepare ye the way! The Lord is coming!’

A man walked the shores of Galilee 2000 years ago and preached and they misunderstood him. ‘Isn’t this the carpenter’s son? Isn’t this the same boy we know?’ No, He’s God, the creator of the world. He wept over Jerusalem because they would none of Him.

The hour of destruction is coming.

Isaiah 28:14-18 “Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem. Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves: Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste. Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place. And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.”

We are living in a generation that doesn’t want to hear about death and hell and destruction. There is Scripture that talks about death and hell and destruction. It’s time for the church to wake up and hear that we don’t have time.

Maybe we’re like the foolish virgins with lamps without oil. Maybe we are preoccupied by other things. We aren’t promiscuous, but we’re unprepared. In Noah’s day, the people weren’t prepared. Even as he preached, the people still refused to believe and get prepared.

People say, ‘We’re good, we’re happy.’ But, really they are on their way to hell. Time is short.

Are we aware?

We as a church must be in tune to the Word of God. What are you doing for your lost loved ones and friends? Have you stood in the gap for them?

Everybody will not be in the final revival.

1 John 3:17-18 “But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.”

Mat 5:44-48 “But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.”

2 Cor 13:5 “Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?”

Better examine yourself now, than on the day of judgment. We’re like the guy who’s got information about a crashing plane. We offer somebody a parachute and tell people they will have a better flight. It doesn’t make the flight better or more comfortable, but that’s all he’s been told. So, he takes it off. It’s not about ‘comfortable’, but it will save your life!

The thing is, what are we telling people? Is following Jesus’ way a more comfortable life or does this save your soul?

In one of the greatest conversions of the Bible, Saul was blinded on the Road to Damascus. Ananias welcomed him and he was baptized in Jesus’ Name and filled with His Spirit. His name was changed to Paul, but people were still unwilling to trust him. Barnabas stuck up for him and saved his life.

Gal 4:4 “But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,”

God’s timing is perfect. There were very few men understood the time they were in. Do we recognize the time we are in?

Suicide is at an all time high. 1 in 3 teenagers admit to getting drunk. 8000 plus STDs are reported every day. Over 1 million abortions every year, over 1 million sexual references seen on TV every year. 50% admit to losing their virginity before 18 years of age. 83% said they believed truth is relative. 65% believe that no religion is the truth.

Jesus told a parable about a rich man who lived the good life. A beggar lived at the gate—Lazarus. Both men died. It doesn’t say the rich man didn’t care and/or didn’t feed Lazarus. It does say the rich man lived without God.

Do you realize today mirrors Bible times?

Rev 20:10 “And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.”

Rev 20:15 “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”

The devil isn’t in charge of hell. It’s his punishment. People don’t have to go there, but you need to get ready for heaven.

Who will go to hell? Nice people without God, pretty people, poor people, wealthy people without God. The commonality is ‘without God’.

Are you standing in the gap for people who are on their death march? The mercies of God have made provision, but are we doing our part?

1 person dies every 1.7 seconds. Does anyone care?

God is so merciful. There is hope. Jesus paid it all. You just need to follow Him and live His way. There is a parachute. Heaven is a real place. And you can help somebody else get there by giving them a ‘parachute’. Jesus came back in a Spirit form, speaking through people to talk about hell and heaven.

Time is just about up. There is a countdown going on. Jesus is coming back. He is coming back in a flash of lightning. There will be no doubt. There will be a war. Hail that weighs more than 100 pounds will fall. Disease will run rampant that won’t kill, but will torment for six months. Every island will be under water because of one earthshaking event. The fish in the seas will die. This is coming soon.

We who know God will be all right, but what about all those people without God?

Rom 13:11 “And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.”

Don’t live like there’s plenty of time. Reach, and seek to save the lost. There is safety in the church. Let souls come in and choose heaven.
