You Are a Giant Killer

When you look in a mirror, what do you see? Do you see someone who other people would look up to?

Or do you see someone who is timid and afraid? Do you have an attitude that says, ‘Help me. I need help.’? When you walk into a job interview, do you think, ‘Please, please hire me, I need this job.’?

Or, do you walk in there like you’re the greatest thing since sliced bread? Instead of the employers thinking, ‘Why should we hire you?’ You should walk in there with the attitude ‘Why would I want to work for you?’

Our spiritual and mental attitudes make a huge difference in our lives. We should have a victorious attitude not because of who we are, but because of who we are in Christ. Don’t be intimidated by the world or the people around you. When you fear people and their opinions, you don’t esteem yourself.

Don’t mistake humbleness for being timid and afraid.

Rev 21:7-8 “He that overcometh shall inherit all things…But the fearful, and unbelieving…shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone…”

Do you see yourself as timid and weak? Do you see yourself in a way that makes you afraid to let your light shine? God has made us in His image. He has called us to be rulers and royalty. We are a royal priesthood. When you look in the mirror, what do you see?

You are a royal priest, chosen. You are a Giant Killer!

An atheist lawyer can get up in front of a courtroom and defend a client with all the passion that is in me. If we truly believe that we have the truth, and that we have the only thing that stands between a living soul and hell, we must have passion and conviction in the way we talk about Jesus to the world. We were made in HIS image. We have His BREATH! When we received His Holy Ghost just like on the Day of Pentecost, we got our dominion back. We got our authority back. We are more than conquerors! We not only conquer, we stay and rule. We are victorious and we KEEP our victories. Why? Not because of us, but because our God, Jesus, is that great!

I learned from Jewish culture that we never say to children ‘That was so stupid!’ or ‘I can’t believe that you did that!’ Don’t belittle your children. Don’t let the children get in their hearts that they are failures and stupid and less than a child of God! Don’t take that for yourself either!

Women wear make-up because they don’t think they’re pretty enough or good enough. You don’t have to meet the world’s lying standards! You don’t have to try to live up to unrealistic images. Even human models don’t measure up to the world’s standards! Many of those magazine photos are manipulated with the flaws taken out.

Men don’t seem to struggle quite as much as women with their physical appearance. They have this mentality that they’re already super-heroes. Yet, for some reason it doesn’t transfer into the spirit.

Men and women, you need to see yourselves as you are—Superheroes because of Jesus!

Stop allowing Satan to beat you down! He’s a liar. We serve the mighty God. When Satan tells you that you are a loser, he’s a liar. That means you are a winner.

God wants to save us and put His name on us. That’s the kind of loving, mighty, all-powerful God we serve. No kid can beat up my Daddy. Why don’t we say, ‘Sickness, you know who my Father is?’ Whatever difficulty comes my way, ‘Do you know who my Father is?’ My Father made the sun and moon and stars! Because of that, we are more than conquerors!

This isn’t based on how you look or what you can do, this is based on what and who He says you are!
