Three Dimensional Faith

I John 5:4 “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.”

1.       Speak Up!

Sometimes you have to speak your faith. Sometimes you have to voice your faith! When we speak, it changes the spirit world.

Faith is a word in your mouth that you believe in your heart! It’s your words that cause things to happen. There’s power in your words! When you speak something, there’s power in the words that you speak. As soon as Jesus spoke the fig tree died!

Mat. 8:8 “Just speak and it shall be done”. Mat. 8:13 “..and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in that selfsame hour.”

Sometimes you have to prophesy (speak by inspiration) to those bones for them to live. Prov 18:1 “Life and death are in the power of the tongue.” There’s power to kill and to make alive just with your words.  James 3:8 said the tongue is full of deadly poison. If you surrender what you’re speaking to God, when we speak in tongues, we are surrendered to God. God changes us through our surrender and there’s power through our words.  There is power in your mouth. When you submit to God you will sound like God wants you. Victory comes through faith. What you normally speak negatively about, you need to speak positively about.

Ps 149:6, “Let the high praises of God be in their mouth and a two edged sword in their hand” to execute judgment and start cutting and slicing. Heb 4:12 “The word of god is…sharper than any twoedged sword…” Rev 1:16 Jesus comes with a sword of fire out of His mouth. Speaking in faith is like using a sword against the enemy. This is how we overcome the world even our faith. Overcome situations by speaking in faith. Not just I’m going to be healed, say “I am healed.” Faith is a word in your heart that you speak with your mouth. Rom 10:9, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Something happens when you speak what’s in your heart by faith.

Stop telling God how big your mountain is and start telling your mountain how big your God is!

2.       Step Out!

Sometimes we have to shut up and just walk. Sometimes it’s just steps we gotta take.  Josh 3:13, the priests were carrying the Ark of the Covenant. They stepped out and as their feet touched the water, the water went away. Sometimes you can’t just speak to something, you gotta kick it out of the way. Sometimes you have to act on something that’s going on in your life! There are tons of scriptures that talk about ‘walking by faith’. Abraham WALKED by FAITH. Peter had to get out of the boat. He had to step out! Prove your faith!

2 Kings 4:1, The woman who was a friend of Elijah, her husband died, she was broke and the creditors were going to take her sons as slaves. She had only a pot of oil. She needed help from God, not Elijah. Elijah helped her by telling her to go get all the empty vessels she could find, not a few! She got as many as she could and God filled them!

There were four un-named teenagers that carried a guy to Jesus. They couldn’t get through the door, so they put him down through the roof. When Jesus saw THEIR faith, stepping out and doing something crazy by faith, their friend was healed!

2 Kings 13:13 The prophet told Joash to smite the earth with his arrows. Joash only hit the earth three times, he stopped. It was half-hearted. If he had kept at it, he would’ve had complete victory. Don’t stop! The just shall WALK by FAITH.

Faith is acting like God told the truth!

Do you believe it? Faith is acting like you believe it. It’s stepping out.

3.       Stand Still

Sometimes, we can’t talk or walk. Sometimes, all we can do is stand! Even though I wish I could walk, sometimes all I can do is just stand! Moses believed God. Moses heard from God and it wasn’t bad pizza. A bush was talking to him! Moses tried to get out of God’s commands, but God had it all covered. Moses obeyed by faith. He performed all these awesome miracles. They feared Moses and his stick. The stick became a stick that ATE other sticks.

Then, Moses was standing at the edge of a sea. Mountains on the left and right and an army coming behind him. Moses was like ‘now what God?’ God looks at Moses and says, “Why are you talking to me?” Moses told God ‘We’re in trouble. There’s nothing I can do. God where are you?’ Moses said to the people, ‘Fear not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will show you this day. The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.” Exodus 14:13-14 Moses spoke to the people and then spoke to God his own fear (it’s not in scripture, but you can infer it because in verse 15 the Lord says, ‘Why are you crying unto me?’ This was after Moses spoke faith to the people.)

Psa. 27:1 “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life: of whom shall I be afraid?” You are my strength when I am weak. I can do nothing sometimes except stand by faith. I can only watch in faith. Sometimes, by faith you stand. Eph 6:13 “Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”

Ps. 56:3-4 “What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee. In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.” I will hide behind his promises and stand by faith!
